Yes, i would have. Mrs. Wilson treats Boyd in that way because she is biased towards black people, generalizing them to be people with no education, and people that do manual labour for little pay. She also generalises them to have no family planning, and are poor and have no manners. This might be because she has never met a black person, and bases her views on someone else's. She might also want someone to intimidate and have someone lower class than her.
I think for most, it's the way people were raised by their parents and the influence of their friends when they were young.
I would not do the same, as i have more knowledge about black people, and I am not generalizing anything towards black people. My view would also be different as I have knowledge about the history of these people. Blacks are not much different from us, except from colour, which is ridiculuous. If someone is not the same race as me, how much different can they be? I will also treat Boyd differently because I know more about black people, thus i understand them more.
